Today we got out for a hike at Pinnacles National Park! Finally. Back home - Sun, 18 Oct 2020. 10pm.

We arrived home a little bit ago, finishing up our three-day weekend roadtrip to the North Coast of California. For the day we logged 365 miles of driving, almost all of it coming after leaving Patrick Point State Park around noon. For the weekend we totaled 843 miles of driving. Yup, that's a road trip!

One of our favorite hikes along California's Central Coast- and there are many; favorites, that is- is the trek to Cone Peak. We haven't hiked it too often, though, because a) it's remote, b) it's a strenuous trek on a sometimes difficult trail, and c) even the drive to the trailhead is iffy.
